My Thomas Sabo bracelet

Today I wanted to talk to you about my favorite piece on jewelry in the entire world: my Thomas Sabo bracelet. Even though I don't have that many charms, I'm in love with it, and I'm always secretly hoping that someone will ask me about it so I can just talk and talk and talk about it.

When pandora bracelets started to become trendy and everyone seemed to be getting one, I really wanted one myself too. But, since they were pretty expensive, I could never get one. However, a few years later I came across a photo of a Thomas Sabo bracelet in Instagram and oh dear! I knew this wasn't like the pandora trend, I really needed one of these! And this time, I didn't care if it was trendy or not, if people had it or not, I fell in love the moment I saw it, and that's all that mattered to me.

As sad as it may sound, my parents never gave me or my sister any presents for our birthdays (when we were little, we could choose between having a party or a gift, so we always chose the party. And then, as we grew older, we stopped throwing parties and never started getting presents), but when I was going to turn 20, I begged and begged and begged my parents for this bracelet, and I got it! So it made up for all those years!

My charms

I want to show you the charms I have - from my least to my most favorite.

My parents brought me this kangaroo from their trip to Australia, and the reason it's my least favorite charm is because it doesn't really mean anything to me.

What I like about these bracelets, is that you actually "build" them yourself by choosing your charms, so it turns into a unique piece of jewelry that should be a reflection of your personality.

But this charm, well... it's cute, but it doesn't say anything about me.

This was a gift for my 21st birthday. I wasn't that excited about it (and I don't mean to sound ungrateful) because I thought it would only show my age for one year. I mean... what would happen when I turned 22? So I thought it would be something I was only going to be able to wear for a year, and I preferred something that I could wear forever.

But my 21st birthday was my best one so far (although the memories are now bittersweet), so I like to think it can remind me of those happy memories, not only of an age.

I've always wanted Volkswagen van. In fact, one of my dreams is to do a road trip and visit all the 50 states in one. I would love to have one and turn the inside into the coziest place on this Earth.

Oh! And the wheels of these charms actually move! Like the ones of toy cars. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time playing with it...

I love letter B. I hate my name, but I love the letter B. I cannot explain why I love it so much, but I do. It's like... trying to explain what a perfume smells like. They just smell good! But, I don't know, I guess B is simply... me!

And my favorite charm - and the one that made me want this bracelet so bad - is my ice-skate charm. Even though I'm not very good at it, I love ice-skating more than anything in this world. It is definitely an important part of me, so I'm glad I can have that represented in my bracelet.

 My wishlist

Now that you've seen what charms I have, I'd like to show you the ones I'd like to have... (from most to least wanted)
