Diy Garland with painted pasta and pompoms

I know I didn't post anything last Friday, but I have my finals at University now and I don't have a lot of time... or any time... at all. So even though I tried to find some time to work on a simple DIY or recipe to blog about, studying won the battle. However, I was staring at the window and I realized there's one DIY I never told you about, I think it was the perfect idea for a post.

I actually made this for Christmas but I liked it so I never took it down. However, since I have that on my window, I never shared it on the blog because I couldn't take any decent photos, since it was against the light.

I actually for the idea from Agus Yornet (who is pretty much my favorite blogger and one of my main inspirations). This is her original tutorial, and this is what gave me the idea to hang it from the window.
It is actually super easy to make. All I did was paint some pasta with nail polish, and make some pompoms as shown in my DIY Pompom magnets tutorial.  I then tied everything to a white thread and hang it from my window.

I think it looks pretty cute and as you saw, it's super easy to make, so I hope you liked it!

Question of the day:

Do you like using/do you use festive decoration even if the festivity is over?

Did you like this post? Why don't we keep in touch?

  5. Those curtains definitely are super cute! I wouldn't have wanted to take them down either, haha. I can't say I'm one to actually decorate seasonally or for particular festivities so I don't ever have the dilemma of deciding whether to take them down or not. The curtains look like they suit year-round though so definitely a win! :)
