Some weeks ago, Puja of BerryBloomXO tagged me to do this "Get to know me" tag (thank you!). I feel like you probably know me better than my family by now, but you never know a person completely, so here we go! 

She didn't really specify the rules, but I'm guessing I have to answers the same questions she did, so I'll just do that and hope I guessed it right. 1. Are you named after someone?
Actually, my older cousin chose my name, because it was her best friend's name. So... kind of?

2. When was the last time you cried?
I am actually writing this on May 10th (hello, you people from the future) and I last cried today... I'm a cry baby.

3. Do you have kids?
Nope!

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
Nope.

5. Do you have a guilty pleasure?
CHOCOLATE! And pizza, and coke. I really should eat healthier...

6. Do you like handwriting?

Definitely. I can think of few things I like more than a hand-written letter.

7. What is your favourite cereal?
Lucky charms. But they don't sell them in Spain.

8. What is the first thing you notice about people?
It is actually their fashion sense...

9. What colour are your eyes?
Brown. I'm afraid :(

10. Scary Movies or Happy Endings?
Happy endings! There aren't enough happy endings in life, so when you get to choose, why not choose one?

11. Favourite TV Show?
A lot. At the moment, my favorite one is Once Upon a Time. I also love How I met your mother, Gossip girl, Greek, Casi Angeles, Supernatural, Friends... I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but those are a few. And I just realized that most of my favorite shows have already finished.

Winter

13. Hugs or Kisses?
Unless by kisses you mean hershey's kisses, then hugs. Although I'm not a big fan of physical contact. I'm so socially awkward, I know.

14. What's the furthest you've been from home?
The USA.

15. Do you have special talents?
I wish. But no.

16. Where were you born?
1993

17. What are your hobbies?
Ice-skating, music, graphic design, shopping, crafts, baking...

18. Do you have any pets?
No.

27 dresses.

I don't have one.

21. What did you want to be when you grew up?

I used to want to be an astrophysicist.

New in! (Elizabeth Arden)

From time to time, my mom and a friend of hers go to an Elizabeth Arden's outlet. My mom couldn't go this time, so she asked her friend to buy some stuff we wanted. And these are my new items, which I'm so in love with!
De vez en cuando, mi madre y una amiga suya van a un outlet de Elizabeth Arden. Esta vez, mi madre no pudo ir así que le pidió a su amiga que nos comprase unas cosas que queríamos. Y estas son mis nuevas cositas, de las que estoy súper enamorada.

The first thing I asked her for is Viva la Juicy perfume. This is my every day perfume and I'm absolutely in love with it. The price at the outlet is a real bargain so I always make her buy me a bottle.

La primera cosa que le pedí fue la colonia de Viva la Juicy. Es la colonia que uso todos los días y me encanta. El precio en el outlet es genial así que siempre le pido que me compre un frasco.

However, my favorite product she got me, and which I hadn't asked for, is this little piece of divine perfection:

I've been wanting a little roll-on perfume to carry in my bag for a long time, and this is simply perfect. It's a 2-in-1 perfume and lip gloss. It smells amazing and the gloss tastes soooo delicious.

Hacía tiempo que quería una colonia roll-on que llevar en el bolso, y esto es simplemente perfecto. Es un 2 en 1: colonia y brillo de labios. Huele super bien y el brillo está riquísimo. 

My neighbor also asked her mom to buy her a BB cream, so she gave me the idea to ask for another one myself. It doesn't really match my skin tone (but no BB cream does, except for Maybelline's), but oh dear! it smells SO GOOD!! I fell in love with it. I sometimes forget to put on perfume before leaving for class (that's why I wanted the roll-on one) but I never forget my BB cream so this is perfect for me.

Mi vecina le pidió a su madre que le comprase una BB cream, así que le copíe la idea y le pedí otra para mí a mi madre. No es exactamente mi tono de piel (aunque la única que he probado que se adapta es la de Maybelline), pero... ¡aaay! ¡Huele taaaan bien!  Me encanta. Muchas veces se me olvida echarme colonia antes de salir de casa (por eso quería el rollon) pero la BB cream no se me olvida nunca, así que esto es perfecto para mí.

And it had this quote in the box, which I thought was super cute. I'm not sure you can read it but it says "To be beautiful is the birthright of every woman".

Y en la caja llevaba esta cita por dentro, que me pareció muy adorable. No se lee bien, pero pone "To be beautiful is the birthright of every woman", que traducido a español sería algo como "Estar guapa es un derecho de nacimiento de todas las mujeres"

I also asked her to buy me this make-up remover, which I've been using for some time now and it works amazing.

También le pedí este desmaquillante, que llevo un tiempo usando y funciona genial.

PEOPLE WITH DRY LIPS, I hope you're still reading, because you have to try this! This product is like... a magical balm you can use for everything you can think of. I'm not gonna lie to you, it doesn't taste very good, but it does miracles to my lips.

GENTE QUE TIENE LOS LABIOS SECOS, espero que sigáis leyendo, ¡porque tenéis que probar esto! Este producto es como... un bálsamo mágico que puedes usar para todo lo que se te ocurra. No voy a engañaros, no sabe muy bien, peor hace milagros.

And the last thing I got is this nail polish. I didn't ask for it, but I still like it. I think I'll definitely be using it a lot this Spring!

Lo último que me trajeron fue este pintauñas. No lo había pedido, pero me gusta. Y creo que lo voy a usar mucho este verano.

1. I am allergic to fresh fruit. All of them. For real.
2. I actually wanted to be an astrophysicist until I was like 15/16.
3. I keep every letter I believe I have received since I was 10. They're my little treasure.
4. I could live on pizza for the rest of my life.
5. I used to hate pink as a kid.
6. My mom always laughs at me because I kind of love pillows and blankets too much. She thinks it's kind of awkward.
7. I always wanted to own a house where I could host a lot of orphans. Not like an orphanage, but somewhere where they'd live, and nobody would adopt them. Everyone in the house would just be like a family. Blame Argentinian tv shows for that.

What's in my bag?

I always wanted to do a 'What's in my bag?' post so I finally decided to do one. This is what I like to carry with me when I'm going  out for a walk or  downtown, when you want to take some things with you, but not too many because you know you probably won't be using most of them.
Esto es lo que me gusta llevar conmigo cuando salgo a dar un paseo, o al centro, o cuando quieres llevar cosas, pero tampoco demasiado porque sabes que probablemente no usarás la mayoría.

This is my bag:

It's from Stradivarius, although I'm afraid it's no longer in the catalogue. I bought it because I wanted a bag that wasn't too big to take downtown but it was still big enough to hold my old wallet (which was pretty big).

Este es mi bolso. Es de Stradivarius, pero ya no lo venden. Lo compré porque quería un bolso que no fuese muy grande para llevarlo al centro, pero que fuese lo suficientemente grande para que cupiera mi antigua cartera (que era bastante grande).

iPhone

I can't live without my iPhone. If I'm going anywhere, it's coming with me.

No puedo vivir sin mi iPhone. Si voy a ir a algún lado, se viene conmigo.

Headphones / Auriculares

Music is another thing I can't live without. I like listening to music on my way to wherever I'm going.
La música es otra cosa sin la cual no podría vivir. Me gusta escuchar música de camino a donde sea que vaya.

Wallet / Cartera

Just as the bag, it's from Stradivarius. I liked it because it wasn't very big but it did have room for a lot of things, and it was pink so... it seemed perfect for me.
Igual que el bolso, es de Stradivarius. Me gustó porque no era muy grande, pero sí cabían muchas cosas. Y además es rosa así que... perfecta para mí.

Lip balm / Vaselina

I like to take 2 lip balms with me: one of them tinted, the other not.

Me gusta llevar 2 vaselinas siempre: una con color, y otra sin.

Hand sanitizer & kleenex  / Desinfectante y clinex.

You never know when you might need them.

Nunca se sabe cuándo los puedes necesitar.

Extra battery  / Batería extra

As I said, I can't live without my iPhone, so I can't let its battery die.
Como he dicho, no puedo vivir sin mi iPhone, así que no puedo dejar que se muera la batería.

Pen & Notebook  / Boli y libreta

Hey! You never know when you'll have the next best idea. I like to carry a notebook with me, in which I write like... everything! It's like a diary and a lot of random ideas, like blog posts, gifts, cake/cookie design, blog designs...

Oye, nunca sabes cuándo vas a tener la próxima mejor idea del universo. Me gusta llevar un cuadernito conmigo en que escribo básicamente... de todo. Es como una mezcla de un diario e ideas de un montón de cosas, como posts, regalos, diseños de tartas/galletas, diseños de blog...

Strawberry milkshake

Now that spring is here and the days are so warm and sunny, I was really feeling like having a nice and cold milkshake, so I made some!
Ahora que ha llegado la primavera y hace más sol y calor, me apetecía un montón un batido fresquito, así que hice uno.

Recipe for 2 milkshakes / Receta para 2 batidos

Ingredients 

• 200g strawberries
  200g de fresas
• 50g ice
• 50g de hielo
• 25g sugar
  25g de azúcar
• 100ml milk
  100ml de leche

Directions

1. In a blender, blend strawberries, ice and sugar on high speed for about 30 seconds
   En una batidora, bate las fresas, el hielo y el azúcar a la velocidad más alta unos 30 segundos.
2. Add milk and blend again on high speed for another 30 seconds.
   Añade la leche y vuelve a batir todo a la velocidad más alta otros 30 segundos.

It's as easy as that! It's super easy to make and delicious.

Y ya está. ¡Es así de fácil! Es super fácil de hacer y está super rico.

DIY Candy Flower

Hey hey! I'm writing this post on a train on my way back to Barcelona. And no, this has nothing to do with the rest of the post, but I just fell like telling you because I feel so.... adult sitting here, traveling alone, typing on my iPad as if I was working on a super important project… But enough of listening to my life, let's get to the actual post! ¡Hola hola (caracolas)! Estoy escribiendo este post en el tren de vuelva de Barcelona. Y no, esto no tiene nada que ver con el resto del post, pero me apetecía decirlo porque me siento super... adulta aquí sentada, viajando sóla, escribiendo en el iPad como si estuviese trabajando en algo super importante.... Pero bueno, ya he hablado suficiente de mi vida, así que vayamos a lo que nos concierne...

It's May, the month of flowers, and what flower can be better than one made out of candy? Umm... NONE! Es mayo, el mes de las flores, y ¿qué flor puede ser mejor que una hecha de gominolas? Hhmm… ¡NINGUNA!

Seriously, you have to admit these are pretty cute, and the good news is... they're super super super easy to make! Who wouldn't like to be given one of these? En serio, tenéis que admitir que son bastante cuquis, y lo mejor de todo es... ¡que son super fácil de hacer! ¿A quién no le gustaría recibir una de éstas? 
You're going to need: Necesitaréis:

• 1 round jelly sweet
  1 gominola redonda
• 5 heart jelly sweets
  5 gominolas con forma de corazón
• 1 lollipop stick
  Un palo de pirueta 
• 2 toothpicks
  2 palillos

Start by sticking one heart and the round sweet into the lollipop stick.

Clava un corazón y la gominola redonda en el palo de piruleta. 

Stick the two toothpicks into the round sweet forming an X.

Clava los dos palillos a la gominola redonda formando una X.

Stick the rest of the hearts into the toothpick ends.

Clava el resto de corazones en los extremos de los palillos. 

I'm sorry. I know the photos aren't the best. The lighting wasn't very good and the sugar on the candy makes them look... weird. But you got the idea (I hope). And I hope you like this idea!

Lo siento. Sé que las fotos no so. Las mejores. La luz no era muy buena y el azúcar hace que se vean... Raras. Pero os hacéis una idea (espero). ¡Y espero que os guste la idea!

• Apr 29: I posted this on Tuesday night. I'd gone to Domino's the day before and probably ate too much pizza. You're probably thinking no amount of pizza is too much pizza, but this probably was since it made me feel so sick I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day. And the next day. So I was starving at night and my dad gave me oreo cookiess :) Although, to be perfectly honest, I took a picture of one and didn't even eat them.
  Esta foto la puse el martes por la noche. Había ido a Domino's el día anterior y creo que comí demasiada pizza. Probabemente estés pensando que ninguna cantidad de pizza es demasiada, pero ésta probablemente sí lo fuese, ya que me encontraba tan mal después que no pude comer nada el resto del día. Ni el día siguiente. Así que por la noche me moría de hambre y mi padre me dio oreos :) Aunque, para ser sincera, le hice una foto a una y ni siquiera me las comí.
